About Us

LiteratuReview.com is a web site created to showcase literary works that readers have found particular noteworthy. These are the books that readers feel others would benefit from reading.

I developed the site to provide a forum for readers eager to share a rare work that moved them so much they wanted to write about their experience. Over the years many books have impressed me, and I have written to friends recommending these works to them. Often, I have sent books along for them to read.

It is my hope that literatureview.com will become a meeting place for readers and writers who share a common love of literature whatever form it takes. The site also encourages aspiring writers to submit a sample of their work for posting. We will encourage our visitors to read the work and make comment and criticism so that the writer gets some first hand feedback on his efforts. Those with delicate sensibilities, please be aware that some readers may be brutally frank about their reaction to your work, so be prepared for both good and bad remarks.

Finally, we plan to include on the site a selection of poetry, recited by talented readers who will lend their interpretation to the poet's work.
